The imaware™ mission is to reduce the number of undiagnosed Rheumatoid Arthritis patients.

Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is a serious auto-immune disease that occurs at twice the rate in women as compared to men[A] with potentially a large number undiagnosed.

Have you experienced any Rheumatoid Arthritis symptoms?

You may have Rheumatoid Arthritis if you have experienced any of the following symptoms:

• Pain in small joints

• Multiple painful joints

• Joint stiffness in the morning

In addition, you may have rheumatoid arthritis if a family member of yours has been diagnosed, as first-degree family members are 5x more likely to have rheumatoid arthritis as well.

If left untreated, over 20% of patients become so severely debilitated within the first 3 years following initial diagnosis that they become permanently disabled.

Don't leave the RA question unanswered

Choose a quick and easy testing experience

Rheumatoid Arthritis starts to develop months before symptoms show. imaware™ can provide awareness of RA before symptoms show and can significantly reduce time to diagnosis.

Take advantage of earlier detection

Early treatment is critical to slowing the progression of RA, preventing long-term joint damage, and protecting your overall health.

Still have questions about how imaware™ works?

Here are just a few of the things people frequently ask about imaware. If you don’t see your question here, get in touch with us by clicking here.

How do I prepare for my rheumatoid arthritis test?
There is nothing special you must do to prepare for your rheumatoid arthritis test. Simply follow our instructions to draw your sample and return to us the same day using the paid return shipping bag.
What are rheumatoid arthritis biomarkers?
A rheumatoid arthritis specific biomarker is a measurable indicator of your body's autoimmune response. The two most common rheumatoid arthritis biomarkers are RF and CCP. In patients with rheumatoid arthritis, these specific biomarkers are often found to be elevated.
What makes the imaware™ rheumatoid arthritis test different?
imaware™ is a comprehensive test for rheumatoid arthritis that utilizes the prevalence of family history and other relevant conditions in our report. Our test also measures the CCP biomarker, which has been shown to be elevated up to 12 months before rheumatoid arthritis symptoms and damage take place.
Is the imaware™ rheumatoid arthritis test the same as a DNA test?
imaware™ rheumatoid arthritis test is more accurate than a DNA test, as it tests your blood for presence of rheumatoid arthritis biomarkers. DNA kits test for the genetic markers that may indicate a predisposition for auto-immune diseases, which may not indicate rheumatoid arthritis.
Are there any special return shipping instructions?
No, simply drop-off the package in the provided shipping bag at any USPS mailbox or store location at any time.
